Chainlink CCIP official live on Solana Mainnet
A major step has come out in the world of Crypto and Blockchain. Chainlink has now made its powerful CCIP (Cross-Chan Interoperability Protocol) live on Solana Network. This is the first time Chainlink’s ccip has become active on blockchain without a Non-Evm (Etreum Virtual Machine). Earlier, it was only being used on Etreums such as EVM-Supoported Networks.
After this integration, Solana’s power has increased further because now developers and projects have got a tool that can easily transfer data and digital assets between different blockchain networks, they also have no safety and speed compromise.
What does CCIP do?
CCIP i.e. cross-also interoperability protocol, which is a special feature of chainlink, connects different blockchain. Through this, it becomes easier to send digital assets, tokens and data from one network to another. This is exactly the same as we transfer money from one bank to another, but it is happening in the world of Web3.
Now that it has become active on Solana, it can create safe and fast connections with networks like Etreum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, BNB Chain and Sonic.
Why is this integration for Solana?
Solana is a super fast and low cost blockchain network. But till now it did not have direct connection facility with EVM Networks like Etreum. Solana has also become part of multi-chain ecosystem with the arrival of CCIP of Chainlink.
This means that now projects on Solana will be able to easily transfer data and value from Ethereum or other networks. This will make dapps (decentralized applications) for developers and easier, especially for apps that run on more than one blockchain.
Which projects are going to be connected to Solana?
After this partnership of Chainlink and Solana, many big projects are now turning to Solana. These include:
- Maple finance: Which is preparing to launch its stabilcoin syrupusd on Solana via CCT (Cross Chain Token) Standard.
- Shiba inu: Popular Meme Token which will now take advantage of Solana’s fast network.
- Solv and backed finance: Both these Defi projects are also preparing to bring assets on Solana with the help of CCP.
- Elizaos: This project will use CCIP to expand its AI agents into multi-chain ecosystem.
The total market value of all these projects is around $ 19 billion (about ₹ 1.5 lakh crore), which is clear that in the coming time, the Solana EcoSystem is coming to the big level capital and liquidity.

Earlier, some services of Chainlink such as Price Feeds and Data Streams were also present on Solana, which are using GMX-Solana and Kmino Finance. Now the joining of CCIP has made Solana even stronger and interrupted.
