Defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox on Monday said it has extended the creditor repayment deadline by a year from October 31, 2025, to October 2026.
“Since it is desirable to repay such rehabilitation creditors to the extent reasonably practicable, the Rehabilitation Trustee, with the permission of the court, has changed the repayment deadline from October 31, 2025 to October 31, 2026,” the announcement said.
The statement said that except for some specific types of repayments, the trustee has completed making the main payments called basic repayment, initial lump sum repayment and intermediate repayment to those creditors who have completed the necessary steps and have not encountered any problems during the process.
