Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, after reviewing the crowd management measures at Delhi’s Anand Vihar railway station on Sunday, said that strict action has been initiated against those circulating fake videos targeting the Railways on social media. He also appealed to the people not to circulate fake videos and said that it creates confusion among the passengers.
Vaishnav conducted a surprise inspection of Anand Vihar station to ensure safety and convenience of passengers during the festive season. A press release issued by the Railway Ministry said that the minister also interacted directly with the passengers at the station and asked about the cleanliness of the station premises and the facilities being provided.
