
Video platform Rumble (RUM) plans to launch Bitcoin tipping for its 51 million monthly users by mid-December, expanding how creators can earn directly from their viewers.
The new feature, developed in partnership with Tether, allows viewers to send BTC tips via a digital wallet built into the app. It was announced during the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, Switzerland.
The company said it is still testing the system. The first BTC tip was sent to Canadian content creator David Freiheit.

Leading stablecoin issuer Tether has invested $775 million in Rumble and backed the company. It is set to leverage the video-sharing platform to launch its US-compliant stablecoin USAT to 100 million Americans.
Rumble has also adopted a Bitcoin treasury strategy. According to data from BitcoinTreasury, the company has accumulated 211 BTC so far.
